Today we were in Dr Cullen Park in Carlow to watch the Leinster Senior Ladies Football Final - Dublin against Kildare!
At half-time the little man's sister got to play in a mini-match - she is on the Dublin U-12's team and they were playing the U-12's from Kildare!
This was her first game in a Dublin jersey and she was so excited!
The Dublin Senior girls were victorious - just like the Dublin men that week! The final score was Dublin 5 goals and 9 points to Kildare's 12 points!
As the match was finishing I could hear the sound of the Ice-cream van outside the grounds ... and remembering Norwood and National Ice-Cream Day I encouraged everyone to move outside!!
Unfortunately, it was so hot and I was so happy to get my ice-cream that the little man's mom had difficulty in getting the photo!
But, I thoroughly enjoyed it! Nearly as much as seeing the Dublin girls winning!!

YEAH DUBLIN GIRLS! Way to go for Ice Cream Clive. You scream, I scream, we all scream for ICE CREAM. They got special doggie ice cream snacks here called Frosty Paws cause a lot of dogs are lactose intolerant; but evidently we aren't among those that don't get along with dairy products. Looks like you and the little man enjoyed the game. How hot does it get there. We were watching the British Open yesterday and it sure didn't look hot there. It looked more like we usually envision the British Isles.
