It's raining, it's pouring and we're painting away .......

The weather has been really rotten the past few days ....
Lots of wind and rain ...
We've stayed indoors doing what we like best ....
Being together .....
Painting together .....
Sharing together ......
Enjoying ourselves ....
When Murray suggested we go outdoors for a few minutes ....
I was having none of it .....
Even when he asked real nicely ......
Not even kisses will make me go out in the rain!
I'm a doodle that doesn't like to get wet!
Spending a dry Sunday indoors with my 'young man' was a lot more fun!

- Clive and Murray on a really wet Sunday in Dublin!!!

  1. What a minute! That's not typical Irish weather!!! Do I need to return and bring the sunny weather with me? Love the painting - we need some enforced indoor time for creativity...

    Your pals,

    Petey and Jane

  2. Looks like a great way to spend the day. If only Clive had opposable thumbs, he could probably paint masterpieces.

  3. We have a beautiful day here, Murray and Clive. C'mon over and we get go outside together.

Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning

  4. Very sweet photos! Painting looked like a lot of fun!
I actally LOVE the rain...you can't keep me out of it... but, we haven't had any for a while, so you can send yours my way please!

    Sweet hugs,
    Sierra Rose

  5. I love love love the rain! BUt I love your painting too! Hope the weather gets better real soon!

  6. I'm with you, Clive! I'd much rather stay inside on a rainy day that go out and get wet! Your paintings are awesome!

  7. Oh so sweet. Awesome way to spend a rainy day - indoors with a very special friend.

  8. Clive you and Murray are such good buddies, but we don't like wet feets either

  9. We're not super keen on rain, although we like getting muddy feet (mostly because it's fun to hear Mom grumble! heehee!). However, you are much better behaved when you're stuck inside than we are. After the first hour or so, we're bouncing off the walls, and Mom pulls out the 'dog trick' book, and when that fails to wear us out, she dons the rain gear (for her, not us!) and takes us out on a walk. Maybe if we learned to paint... that looks like fun! ;-)

  10. You're a doggie after my own heart, Clive - I don't like going out in the wet & rain either!!

    have fun painting!

  11. We're with you, Clive - no way do we like to be wet! Painting with Murray looks like so much fun!

    Love ya lots

  12. They look so happy and content in each other's company no matter what they're doing. Lovely photos. The weather is indeed rotten, I see the rain continues today also...

    xx Jazzy

  13. What joyous pictures! Sounds like a perfect Sunday.

  14. That sure sounds like a purfect thing to do during the weekends, even though the weather may not be that purfect. :)

  15. Woof! Woof! Oh I LOVE painting too. A PAWSOME indoor project on a rainy day. I recently did a PAW painting project on my blog. I've been also busy PAWtographing my book Sugar's Furry Friend. Check it out and let us know if you are interested. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar

  16. Wow, what a great bonding, and painting was really nice hobby, you guys look like a brother Woof! I love the paws paint.

  17. Your paintings are lovely! Very colorful. Clive is like me,BabyRocketDog, in that neither of us like to go out in the rain. That silly Hootie doesn't mind the rain at all. He always romps in it! Have a great rest of the week.

  18. Sounds like a perfect rainy day indoors!!! Don't want to get that furry coat all wet...takes time to dry off, right??? Painting is paw-some!!! Josie does it too...Woofs and hugs, MB, Josie and Blues

  19. Lovely photos, at least you guys had fun posing for the camera!

  20. great way to spend a wet day! XXX

  21. Stay indoors if you can...one smart doodle you have there...My Sophie is a waternut to the nth degree...she'll venture out into the garden at anytime, probably because we have so much rain here normally. I still think Clive is the smart one though.
